The 30-second path

Open the editor, type into the Text box, and drag the card where you want it. Those three actions produce a publishable graphic. Everything else is refinement.

The default preset is the wide, text-first card: 90% of the canvas width, tight padding, and body text set larger than the display name. That inversion is deliberate — it is what keeps the words legible at thumbnail size in a feed, which is where the graphic actually competes for attention.

Getting the text right

Short and declarative beats long and qualified. Three lines is usually the ceiling before a reader scrolls past.

Press Enter for a hard line break and leave a blank line between paragraphs — the renderer spaces paragraphs by exactly one blank line, matching how a real post reads.

If your text is genuinely long, the card grows first, then the type scales down, and only then do you get a warning. Nothing is ever cut off without telling you.

Three details that separate polished from amateur

Text that touches the card edge, a profile picture stretched rather than cropped square, and a display name set in the same weight as the body. Those three give away a rushed graphic more than anything else.

All three are handled by default here. Padding scales with card width, avatars are centre-cropped to a circle, and the name is bold at the same size as the body.
